During our meal at the mexican resturant they came around with Tequila and offered shots for $25 a shot. BEWARE of the Italian resturant, they will come around and offer you a bottle of champaign with your dinner, but not tell you the bottles cost $$. At the mexican resturant we got a lecture from the waiter on how hard all the kitchen staff as well as wait staff work and they would "apprecaite our tips"I have never been to an all inclusive where they flat our ask for a tip, espeically when the service was poor. The wait staff always seemed to be busy, there just wasn't enough of them, and they too seemed to spend more time with people who appeared to be, more well to do financially. I found it helpful to take a bottle of water with me to every meal to be sure I had something to drink. The food usually took an hour or longer, you would be lucky to get 1 drink during dinner (re-fills were out of the question). There were several resturants to choose from and the seating options were nice, some had booths and tables, but the service was horrible. It was difficult to get more than 1 drink at the lobby bar. Lobby bar staff had no personality and seemed to cater to who looked the richest or were dressed the least. The check in staff were rude, accidently kept 2 of the travelers passports during check in and lost their customs forms (they had to pay $70 to get new forms). Half our group had issues with their air conditioning. CONS: We had a group of 53 for the wedding, quite a few of the reservations were messed up, weather this was a travel agent thing or a hotel thing I am not sure. The rooms have Irons, Robes, Slippers, Blow dryers, Makeup mirrors, mini fridge, small coffee pot and a bathroom scale (which was good for weighing luggage for the flight home). The coffee shop right off the Lobby had amazing coffee, (hot and cold options), the staff there were polite and worked really hard. Our air conditioning worked well, but others complained theirs did not. The rooms were decent size and the beds were very comfortable. The pool bar staff were amazing, Eric and Christian worked their butts off and always had a smile on their face. Pros: The food tasted amazing, probably the best food ive ever had at a resort. We chose this resort because a family member was getting married there and we booked with a group.
First off for my husband and myself we paid $4000 for this trip, more than we have ever paid before. Cabo was my least favoite and I had High hopes for this place.
